Are there any treatments applied to your products?

Our Machine wash wool products are applied with a treatment called Hercoset. This treatment enables the fibres not to clump when machine washed.

The Sensitive choice range is treated with a product called Ultrafresh.

Ultrafresh is a chemical additive that inhibits dust mites from living in the fibre. Dust mites are the major trigger for asthma sufferers, hence removing dust mites provides a healthy sleeping environment.

Ultrafresh is very safe - for example, it is one of the active ingredients in Head and Shoulders anti dandruff shampoo.

The Ultrafresh treatment is applied to the fibre during the manufacturing process of the polyester fibre before Jaspa Herington receives the fibre. This ensures the treatment never washes out and is there for the life of the product.

There are some materials that the treatment can’t be applied to e.g., cotton and feathers. In this case the Ultrafresh treatment is applied only to the fabric of the shell and not the filling. The treatment provides the same protection but over many washes it will slowly reduce.

Do your products come with a guarantee?

The guarantee covers any manufacturing or materials faults or defects. In the event of a fault or defect, each faulty product will need to be assessed on an individual basis. Our guarantee doesn’t cover general wear and tear and for a guarantee to be honored, care instructions must have been followed.

Can I track my order?

Once your order has been picked and ready to ship, you will be sent an email containing your tracking number and a link to view the delivery status and ETA.
